This project is a compilation of ideas and collaborations throughout my extended quarantine and isolation from friends, family, and mentors. Writing and recording this music served as a healthy distraction from the fears and uncertainties of this pandemic, as well as a path towards meaningful introspection and life reevaluation. In doing so, I have incorporated my principle instrument, the saxophone, on nearly every song finally realizing its potential as an extension of my creative process. Leaving behind my closest friends and the Philadelphia music community that shaped me, this EP represents an attempt to reconnect with these roots and supplement the creative void in my life with remote music making.
Hopefully, this year will prove to be more beautiful and less terrible.
